Memoirs

My world is forbidden as it is fragile;
Without its mysteries, it cannot survive.
Not free to love, or pursue my own destiny;
Yet never could I forget a moment of unexpected kindness.
A memory that shimmers like a mirage;
A moment that sustains through sufferings...

Reading the book yet again and hope to catch the movie. However, I suspect that movies do not always do justice to the exquisite and magnificent writing of authors such as Arthur Golden...hmm!

To a certain degree, Arthur Golden captured the realism of life (tale of unrequited love, and life struggle) - you don't always get what you want... here comes the realisation that every part of life moments, good and bad, are small pieces of puzzle that completes you.

Life moments teach us to strengthen our resolve, to have patience and keep the faith. "What will happen to us now?" In the words of Brad Pitt in Meet Joe Black, "It'll come to us...". Stay tuned for my verdict of the movie, Memoirs of a Geisha! I'll end this blog with a quote shared by a colleague... aptly said (thanks, SC!):
